Can professional cycle racing get any lower than this?

A Belgian teenager Femke van den Driessche was pulled from the World Cyclo-Cross Championships by stewards on Sunday 29th January.

This happened after one of her bikes was found to be fitted with an electric motor. Femke claims that she did not know that the Wilier had been fitted with an electric motor and that anyway the bike was not hers, saying that she was not even going to ride it anyway.
